Municipal leaders from New Jersey got a better understanding of Distributed Antenna Systems when The New Jersey Wireless Association held a DAS 101 Panel in conjunction with The DAS Forum. The panel, part of the N.J. League of Municipalities event in November in Atlantic City, N.J., covered the basics of DAS, its benefits, regulatory challenges experienced by DAS companies, and was capped off with a tour of the DAS facility in the Sheraton Atlantic City Convention Center.
Speakers included Robert Ivanoff, president and managing director Copper Hill Ventures; Jeff Just, director of business development at Insite Wireless; Michael Ellinikos, RF director at MetroPCS Communications; Peter Broy, director of government relations at NextG Networks; Marty Mednansky, director of channel sales at Corning MobileAccess; and D. Zachary Champ, government affairs counsel at PCIA.
